One of 6 feeder caches for the Clueless in Clova box. Originally set when Mrs TC was unable to do any long walks after a knee injury. They are therefore suitable for those with children or who are physically unable to do more strenuous caches.
There is space to pull off the road at each cache.
The original Gella Bridge was built in the 19th century and although fenced off still stood here as a feature until winter of 2007. In late summer of that year a large section of the upstream parapet fell into the river. The rest of the bridge, we assume for safety reasons, was removed shortly afterwards.
In the early 1800s there was a commercial water pearl fishery here
