TT #2: Willow's Walkabout Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

BriGuyNY: The reason that I originally hid this geocache is no longer relevant. Since it has recently landed on the reviewer’s watch list, and since I am no longer in a position to regularly maintain it, I have decided to archive. Fun while it lasted. Thanks for all the logs, favorite points, and memories.

For what it’s worth, to any archive sleuths out there, I’m fairly confident the container is still in place, just buried under seasonal growth. It’s on the ground, under a rock along the outcropping, with a nice view of the monument. Not worth me going out to check, but if I’m ever in the area one day down the road, I’ll give it a look and report back.

Also a shout out to my buddy Lance Lee - Here’s looking at you, bro. Ten years since your last drive on this crazy roundabout, but never forgotten ✌🏼

Geocache Description:

A cache for Willow Park!

I used to come here pretty often for a few years and wondered why there were no caches here. Through a bit of research, I realized that "caches of old" have gotten muggled numerous times on park grounds which is why this time I've placed one somewhere along the outer edges of this land for you to find.

The posted coordinates will take you to a place where you can begin your journey. There are also 2 other waypoints for parking. You will be analyzing the park by answering a few short questions to figure out where the container is located. I have not listed any waypoints because this cache has been designed to allow for exploring the park at your own leisure. There is a map legend of the park at each parking area, which may be useful for your navigation. The final is located just off a pathway, no bushwhacking required.

Here are the questions to solve:

N42 AA.BCD
W073 EE.FGH

AA = the last 2 digits of the horseshoe club's established year, subtracted by the sum of all digits in that same date.

B = the # of "golf course" holes

C = the largest # of lamps on a baseball field pole

D = the # associated with the red X-Country trail on the park map

EE = the # of stones (in and above ground) associated with the sun dial

F = the # of rooftop peaks at the largest playground area

G = the # of letters in the park name

H = the # of rocks with faded blue paint near the BMX track

I hope you enjoy your walk through the park!

Congrats on FTF: Orion and Son & jackofnone
