Geocache Description:


This place was used as Takagari place of the generals in the Edo era. It was the bright place where it was full of green, and the sunlight hit so as to become the straight production center of tea and the mulberry in the Meiji era. Because it was the place that was superior in natural environments, a tuberculosis sanatorium was established in 1920, and it was renamed to national sanatorium Nakano hospital afterwards, and it was it with the abolition by the unification of the hospital. The forest of the greatest scale in Nakano-ku is left by the present. There is the biotope, too.
It is a new park opened for a park on April 1, 2007.
The use of the park is not possible from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
It is prohibition of smoking in the garden.

この場所は、江戸時代には将軍の鷹狩場として使われました。明治時代には茶や桑の生産地となるほど、緑豊かで日光のあたる明るい場所でした。自然環境に優れた場所だったので、1920年に結核療養所が開設され、その後国立療養所中野病院と改称され、病院の統合により廃止となりました。現在では中野区内最大規模の樹林が残っています。ビオトープなどもあります。
公園としては2007年4月1日に開園された新しい公園です。
午後11時から午前6時までは公園の利用はできません。園内禁煙です。
