Geocache Description:

C&N No. 3

Cache No. 3 on the Crewe and Nantwich Circular walk. A round trip of 28 miles on flat but, at times, muddy fields and canal tow paths.

The Crewe and Nantwich circular walk circles the two towns of south Cheshire and takes in some interesting locations. It can be a bit muddy and badly signed so I thought that a new cache series might make the route a bit more trampled and obvious. The plan is to locate a cache at approximately 1 mile intervals along the route, starting at No. 1 on the Northern section. Anyone can join in and place a cache on the route - the more the merrier, but try and stick to the one mile rule to start it off.

This cache is a standard 35mm film cannister and is located near the flashes of Elton - a bird watchers paradise if ever there was one. Head north west along the lane for about 1/4 mile by car if you would like to check out the birds after your find, or head north on the footpath just beyond the railway bridge for 1/3 mile towards Brook Farm.
