Osprey Antics
Some years ago a determined Osprey ( Sea Eagle ) decided to nest on the power lines above GZ, continually causing problems for the electricity suppliers. They tried removing the nest many times,but the bird always returned to the same spot.
The problem was eventually solved by building the platform and perch you see above the wires. Ospreys have nested here every year since ,without causing any blackouts. What a great outcome. Hope your search is as successful.
