I would like to share some of my favorite Bermuda views in this
series of caches. This is the first of many more to come…
Whale Bay:

Whale Bay is on the western end of Bermuda and it is one of my
favorite spots for catching the sunset. Legend says it earned its
name because fishermen would launch their whaling boats from this
point. It has a very small beach which is nice during low tide.
Nearby is the ruins of an old fort, which offers lots of fun for
the kids. All I know is the view in the evening is spectacular. I
recommend you arrive shortly before sunset so you can enjoy this
view too.
This is a camouflage-covered matchbox.
Small note on cache maintenance: We are here
regularly, also have local friends who will assist if
needed.
