Geocache Description:

Parking is located before the gate, please do not block the road. Alternative parking can be found along Route 219 or on the Scenic Highway. Also, be sure to wear blaze orange if visiting the cache during hunting season.

The cache is a small ammo box.

Cache is located on one of the many mountains in Pocahontas County, WV. There will be about a ¼ mile walk to get to the cache, but almost all of the walk is on an old road.

Also, there are some great views of Pocahontas County if you continue up the road two to three tenths of a mile to the second clearing. Climb to the top of the hill on the left for an even better view.

Original contents include: log book and pen, stuffed dog, hot wheels car, water gun, silly putty, remote controlled car, The Hunter’s TB, and $5 for the first to find.
