Geocache Description:

This Park and Grab, is just off of Route 6 in a tiny area of Swansea known as Barneyville.

When you are driving through Barneyville don't blink, or you will miss it. There is a sign near this site that says Entering Barneyville and another sign about 200 feet away saying leaving Barneyville, so the tour is a quick one.
Near this spot once stood the Myles Garrison House Site the place of meeting of the troops of Massachusetts Bay and Plymouth colonies Commanded by Majors Thomas Savage and James Cudworth who marched to the relief of Swansea at the opening of the King Phillip war.
AD 1675.
This cache has a very small pencil, but it is best to bring your own. It also has a few small foreign coins.
