Geocache Description:

Walk through Craig Phadrig Forest

This is a series of caches placed in Craig Phadrig Forest and named after some of our dogs who have enjoyed walking here over the years. This cache is placed with thanks for granting their permission to the Forestry Commission. Please take care to observe the Access Scotland guidelines when visiting it and please operate ‘trash out’ if you find any in the area of the cache.

People lived here in the Iron Age 2500 years ago. It is thought that St Columba came here in the year 565 to meet with the Pictish chief King Bruce.

Follow the trails for great views over Inverness and the Beauly Firth.

The cache is a white vitamin tub large enough for a few small swaps/trackables. (Please take care when replacing the cache and ensure it is not visable from the path/s).

Although this cache can be reached from a number of directions, a good start point is the attached waypoint at the car park.
