Geocache Description:

The Aqua Duck Tape Cache is in a scenic spot beside the Aquaduct. Trout Scout likes it by the water. The cache is a 8 x 6 x 2 Lock "n" Box in a Camo Duck Taped Zip Lock Bag. Please replace the rocks as found and close the Zip Lock Bag.

From GZ you have a great view of the kayakers in the Aquaduct. Please keep as out of sight from the Kayakers as possible!!! Looks like they are NOT Geocaching friendly. While signing the log you can listen to the soothing sounds of the roaring rapids.

Be sure to visit the Fleet Street Pumping Station to your south. It is a historic water pumping station in Lebreton Flats. The building was opened in 1875 as Ottawa's first pumping station. It pumped unfiltered water from the Ottawa River in to the city's new supply system. Ottawa also has two newer and larger pumping stations: one on Lemieux Island opened in 1917, and one at Britania that opened in 1961. While most of Ottawa's water comes from these two facilities, the Fleet Street Station still plays an important role in the city's water supply.
