SI: Poljanska baba je osamljena skala, ki izstopa iz bukovega gozda na vzhodnem pobocju Mežaklje.
EN: Poljanska baba is a lonely rock wich step out from the beech forest on the eastern side of Mežaklja.

Legenda pravi, da je nenavadna podoba skale dobila ime Baba po trdosrcni in neusmiljeni edinki plemiškega rodu, ki ni hotela rešiti smrti nesrecnega kmeta, ki ga je pokoncala zver, ko je lovil na Mežaklji.
Zacetek poti je v vasi Kocna kjer lahko tudi parkirate. Sledite smerokazu »Pohodniška pot«. Pot vodi skozi gozd in je dobro markirana. Celotna pot poteka v hladu gozda, tako da je primerna tudi za soncne dni. V dežju je pot zaradi listja lahko nevarna, zato priporocam da se dobro obujete.

The legend says that the unusual rock got a name Baba after hardhearted and heartless only daughter from noble family. Daughter did not want to save unhappy farmer from the beast which killed him when he was hunting on Mežaklja.
The way begins in the village Kocna when you can park. Just follow the guidesign »Pohodniška pot«. The way lead throught the forest and it is well marked. All further way is going on in the forest and it is good for the sunny days too. If it is raining the path can be dangerous, so I recommended good shoes.
