The 06 Traditional Cache
Alpinebobl: Ahh....my very first cache hide has been destroyed by the logging operation in this area. I may find another spot in the future. It'l been a good eleven years.

"The 06" (Oh six) is the local name for the popular, mostly gravel, Forest Service Road 06, that links Truckee to Watson Lake, Tahoe City, and Brockway summit.
Park at the trailhead for the Sawtooth Trail about 200' past the end of the pavement. The cache is a short distance away. One gallon plastic jug. Approx coords...trees.
Winter? The cache will probably be buried in snow. The 06 is not plowed and the gate will be closed. County ordinance states, "No parking on shoulders from Nov 1st to May 1st" for other roads. Please come back in spring.
After reading logs on other Truckee area caches, our family already has bets on who the FTF will be!
(Congrats to Thescheib and Scheibwife for FTF, and to us as our bets were all on them....that was fast!)
