near wharf in fairhaven, about 50-75 feet from road. watch for debris from an old sardine factory that used to be here.
in this cache are a toy truck, 2 braclets, a dog made of perler beads, and the booty hunters 5 signature, 3 perler bead parrots. a pencil and notepad are in there as well to log your visit. the cache is a 3 or 4 liter salt beef container with a green top.
there used to be a sardine factory owned by hw welch here, the cache is located where the water tower used to stand. I also live within walking distance of the cache.
It is called the view because you can see the water and wharf, salmon cages in the cove and the coast of the U.S. about 2.5 miles away. it is truly a pretty spot.
this is our first hide (my wife and I and our 3 children) and we hope you enjoy the view from here.
