A pretty trail along the Batson River.
It is National Trails Day and it was time to get out and explore some new trails and leave a few caches along the way. This trail will take you along a scenic walk along the Batson River in Kennebunkport. I have placed three caches as part of my “Going Batty” Series. You should be able to complete the loop in less than one hour. The trail was fairly buggy so you will want to bring bug spray.
Caches in Going Batty Series:
Going Batty Along the Batson: Small dry case with log and pencil. No room for trade items.
Bats on the River: Small dry box with log, pencil, swag and FTF prize.
Bats on the Belfry: Small camouflaged match container with log and pencil.
Cache location: Caches are located in Kennebunkport off of Gravelly Brook Road. See the parking coordinates. You will want to pull off the road near the trail sign.
