Geocache Description:

Make a quick stop down here by the public boat launch in Stone City. I'll bet you didn't know there was one? There's a few thing's in Stone City besides the limestone quarry, the mock up "Gothic" house, the old stone church.

Trade for a bug or a geocoin, or just pick one up or drop one off. Every Travel Bug and Geocoin like's to visit and have their picture taken in Stone City where Grant Wood painted his famous painting. Well it's not quite where he sat to paint his painting.

Help the TB's and geocoin's as they all have goal's or mission's, if you can help them, please move them. You don't have to leave one to take one. In the parking area you will be able to see a trail. Stay on that trail till you are very close to the cache. There's quite a bit of Poison Ivy in the area, but as long as you stay on the trail you will miss it. You don't have to go very far from the parking lot to get this.

Don't head off into the wood's to the east. The east edge of the parking lot and those trees are a property line, and that's private property. There is a sign telling you this. There's a few trinket's for kid's to trade for. Please don't looking for this at night.
