My first cache! Went to the Eneas Lake group above Peachland with friends for a weekend fishing trip. Pulled a 16" trout and had a great time!
The road up is deactivated. You will need 4x4. The road into the Provincial Park gets 'pretty gnarly' as my friend would say. We went in 2 short-box trucks and had no issues.
At Tsuh (Deer) Lake there are 2 fairly beat up cabins and ample parking. There is a path leading NE toward Little Eneas and then curves to the SW ending at a spot overlooking the south end of Island Lake. There is a half finished cabin here. Lots of good hammock sites!
Now for the cache...you will need to locate the path leading NE that runs between Island and Eneas Lakes. The hike is not hard, but wear good boots and carry water. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Eneas Lake, but the cache is about 1/3 of the way.
You will not leave to path more than 5 feet. While walking northbound on the path there will be a very small rock face (4 feet high maybe) on your right just before a small climb. The cache is inside a crack in the rock, covered with another small rock. Please replace as found.

July 2010 - We were back at Island Lake a few weeks ago and we checked on the cache. Added a bit of Duct Tape for waterproofing. All was well other than rain, rain, hail, rain...finally cleared up and fishing was great as usual! Found an easier way to the lake too! Bonus!
