Near a dry wash-bed. There are two basic ways to get to the cache site. The easier way is by way of the old railroad tunnel trail. The other is steeper, but a fun hike for adults and older kids. The steeper trail starts off off from a small dirt road near an abandoned mine that is visible from Hwy 24 heading into Manitou Springs.
As the name implies, we stocked the cache full of fun kid books (and other typical cache stuff)!
The cache is near the trail heading up the intermittent creek bed. I would be careful if the weather starts acting up as it looks like the wash may get some swift flow when raining.
