This Event will complete the 2 new series of caches following our recently completed Civil War Battles Driving Tours; this half commemorates the Battle of Wyse Fork.
We will begin this event at the Kinston/Lenoir County Visitors Center (VC), at the listed coordinates, in the auditorium where the first event concluded.
The VC opens at 10:AM on Saturdays, so we will plan to begin at 10:15AM. Please note there is no Event Breakfast for this meet, so the later starting time will allow for those traveling into our town plenty of time to stop for breakfast, etc. along the way.
We had 32 visitors for the first event; nearly all said they will return, and we're expecting more for this 2nd part. The auditorium can seat approx. 50, so keep that in mind re early signups & on-time arrivals! Important - Be SURE to tell us how many in your party on your 'Will Attend' posting!
Registrants are advised to add this Event to your Watch List so you will receive updates, any late-breaking announcements, etc.
We'll begin in the auditorium with a historic preamble, distribution of brochures, data etc. Then we will follow the same format as the 'First Battle Tour' Event - 12 Stops with a final 'Mystery Cache'; co-FTFs, etc. That seemed to be pretty popular & well enjoyed by all, so we'll basically repeat that. (Plus, that's what we've planned all along!! *VBG* )
One additional note - plans aren't completely finalized yet, but I'm working on a finish for the event which, if I can put it together, should prove to be a pretty unforgettable finale! You don't want to miss this one!!

In yesterday's mail, received a VERY NICE package of giveaway goodies from socalgeocoins.com, including some of the most beautifully detailed geocoins I've ever seen. AND something I'd never before seen, apparently a 'Euro' concept, called 'nanocoins'. Trez Chic, & Kudos for Matt!! I'm sure the items will be well received by the lucky event-goers!!
BIG THANX!!

Just two more days until 'Round Two'....and the excitement continues to grow! Today's mail bore another VERY NICE assortment for the Treasure Trove, compliments of COINSANDPINS, and a few extra button-goodies from 'Honeychile' at BUMBLEBUTTONS to add to the fun. We'll have a few new faces to meet, & looking forward to that too.
Wishing everyone a safe trip here & home,
