This cache is not on the airport property. This cache is dedicated to the cropdusters and firebombers that flew out of Hammonton Airport. I had the honor of joining the ranks of this line of pilots years ago. We never flew over 200 feet in this area whether out protetcting Wharton from fires or keeping the bugs out of the blueberries.
I also placed this cache, (and one more not too far away), as a crossover cache, crossing from the Atsion side to the Batsto side for Wharton cachers. The blueberry fields are off limits unless you want a face to face meeting with a farmer.
