Just outside the pretty village of Penally a short walk from Tenby this cache provides the opportunity to survey the seaward coast and the island of Caldey 2 miles offshore. From here survey the Island and plan your visit. The container has changed and now no room for swaps - sorry!
You will be visiting one of the best viewpoints in the area. So, pick a clear day and take your camera/binoculars. From here you will be able to see Tenby, Caldey Island and across Carmarthen bay to the Gower and even England in the distance. This is one of our favourite spots. If approaching by car for safety’s sake be sure to approach slowly (suggest no more than 20 m.p.h.) from the west (i.e. the top of the hill), from The Ridgeway. The approach by car may well take your breath away even before you see the view! In snow this would make for a fantastic bobsleigh run!!! Please DO NOT attempt this in a Mobile home, Bus or Articulated Lorry. If walking please take care - especially at night, wear something light and carry a torch. There is just enough space for one car to park and a bench for you to recover (or if walking rest) and admire the view. I have deliberately not posted any pictures so please post yours so that we can share them. Please replace the container carefully and conceal as before to give a fair search for the next person.
