Climb up Hadley Mountain ... the Ranger had another trail off the main one to the cabin at the base of the mountain. This is now closed ... During the summer months there is a "summit steward" who lives there and helps hikers with questions about the area. The summit steward and trail maintenance is done by the Hadley Fire Tower Committee in conjunction with the DEC.
The cache is a short distance on the closed trail off to the right. An easy find! You already did the hard part ... the climb. Cache contains a few trade items, log book and a $1 for the FTF. After the find, return to the main trail and continue up to the summit. You'll be getting views as you go ...
