Geocache Description:

Located on the Northumberland Strait northwest of the town of Pictou, Caribou is named after the Woodland Caribou which used to live in Nova Scotia until European settlers hunted the herds to extinction in the 19th century

Have spent many a time on this island as our summer home is near by,Cache placement is at the very end of the island near one of the few remaining lighthouses, wonderful view here of the Northumberland Strait and surrounding areas.

Cache is a small camo-d loc&loc,Caribou Island is accessable all year round,no need for ferrys or such. PLEASE MAKE SURE CACHE IS HIDDEN THE WAY YOU FOUND IT OR BETTER
