Another cache in Mole's SOS series
I have put together a series of caches and the theme of these are ‘Series’ – each cache is, in their own right, part of a group of caches around the country following a theme linked to a landmark or object, such as churches, ponds and in this case Following a line of Symmetry.
Each ‘series’ was devised by an individual cacher who either retained the series and developed it on their own such as the ponds, dewponds and lakes series by martletsman or encouraged other cachers to add to the series with the request to advise the originator of a new addition in order to keep tabs of the increasing number and save duplication – such as the church micro series, which is managed by sadexploration. There are some series of caches which do not get referred to by a rolling number allocated by the originator (like church micro #176), instead these others are referred to by their location – such as the motorway mayhem series where the motorway and the junction distinguish it from any other. My little series will draw on many of these – each being part of the series referred to but part of this series – Mole’s SOS (Series Of Series)

Symmetry 51
This was a series set up by Parmstro – A simple explanation of his series being ‘a line where N and W have the same values (ignoring the 51 and 00)’ i.e. N51 15.333 W000 15.333 – in keeping with the idea but moving east I have placed this cache near N51 13.515 E000 13.515
Best parking is at N51 13.453 E000 13.629
walk up the road and you will find a stile in from the road about 15m at N51 13.507 E000 13.548
once you have crossed the stile turn right - important - the cache is a number of metres away from the line of symmetry but is as near as I could get it in order to be well hidden. If you go to the 'Symmetry point' - you can now walk out into the field here - and then look back you will see a wall - 42 paces or so towards the wall and you will find the cache.
Once the cache has been found please replace carefully and do not 'chuck' the bricks (used to cover) on top as this has a tendency to damage the container - thanks.
This is a very seldom used footpath as you will see when you get there - but it has been improved of late (at one time you could hardly get through due to the overgrowth)
