The cache is located near Gilmore Basin, a part of the Fairy Creek Flood Mitigation Scheme. Easiest parking is on Reserve St, near the Gilmore Tennis Courts. Terrain is easy but not wheel chair accessible. There doesn't seem any restrictions on dogs in the park, there is a small playground for the kids and sometimes the toilets are open if people are playing tennis. But watch out, that basin can get muddy!
The cache is a sistema container suitable for small swaps, coins and bugs. A pencil is included with the log.
It should be fairly muggle-free although the path is a bit of a short-cut to the local school in the morning and afternoon. Maybe caution is required around those times..... The small patch of bush is home to a number of kookaburras. It is a beautiful thing to hear them singing on a warm summer afternoon. So enjoy a stroll in Gilmore Basin.
