Standing Guard #4: Honkers Traditional Cache
Gyrocacher: I knew this one would come to an end one day. I happened to drive by and saw the road work being done and the guard rail gone. This one brought a lot of fun to may geocachers since I adopted it and changed the cache conatiner. Thanks to DuckDogs for allowing me to adopt this cache location.

I've never been much for guard rail caches, but since this is close to where I work, I decided to adopt this cache and get it back going.
When DuckDogs placed this cache, he said..."When hiding this cache, we were greeted by at least 50 noisy geese, so we thought the title was fitting. Please do not attempt to approach this cache from the nearby street. There is ample parking in the park and a paved trail takes you to within feet of the hide. Don't forget your writing stick and bread for the geese!". I would also like to add, if you park where the sign says "NO PARKING", it's all on you. Good luck!
