Geocache Description:

This quick puzzle cache will give you a brief tour of some parts of Clarion, PA.

The Cache is not at the posted Coordinates. This is a puzzle cache. To find the cache, you will need to go to 6 places in Clarion and answer questions to get the missing coordinates.

Coordinates = N 41*13.ABC W 79*23.DEF

A thru F can be found by going to the following places and answering the questions.

A. (N 41*13.097' W 079*23.578') = Add 4 to the number of rows of barbed wire that are on top of the fence around Clarion University's football field.

B. (N 41*12.912' W 079*23.533') = Add 5 to the number of signs attached to the fronts of the gate posts to the Clarion graveyard.

C. (N 41*12.873' W 079*23.194') = Find the Clarion Vietnam Memorial. Subtract 23 from the day of the month that Valentine A. Ochs was killed in action on.

D. (N 41*12.911' W 079*23.161') = Find the benchmark beside the courthouse. (DO NOT USE THE ONE IN THE BACK YARD OF THE COURTHOUSE, THE ONE YOU NEED IS ON THE FRONT LEFT CORNER OF THE COURTHOUSE) Subtract 1935 from the date stamped on this benchmark.

E. (N 41*12.806' W 079*22.958') = From the parking spots outside the Clarion Library you should be able to see the street number on the door of the library. Subtract 3 from the first number in this address.

F. (N 41*12.753' W 079*22.769') = Go to the entrance of Immaculate Conception Church. The last number in the year that this church was built is the number you need.

If you follow these in order, this should be a very easy puzzle cache. Enjoy, and WELCOME TO CLARION
