Geocache Description:

Cammoed medium bison tube, bring a pen.

Along the Forest Trail between caches with Redwood in their names. No poison oak near. Coordinates are for a place on the trail, face the lake, look for a left leaning Redwood. To its right is a smaller vertical Redwood where the cache is hidden, about 3 feet off the ground on the lake side of the tree. The good news on a hot day is the cool deep shade. The bad news is, GPS accuracy is poor, so you need to read the description.

This trail ranks high among the most beautiful trails in the Santa Monica Mountains. Not so much for flowers, but wonderful trees and lakeside views. It is not very long, ending at the Century Lake dam. On busy weekends listen to all the people on the other side of the lake and enjoy solitude on this side.
