You may be surprised to find a Scouse Mount so far in the south,
but there is a reason we named it that way. It's the first cache of
Outdoor Princess from Nottingham and Ronja Rouge from Leipzig,
Germany, who met on their first day in Liverpool when trying to
find the way to our faculty. Thus orientation has always been part
of our friendship and it's no suprise we ended up geocaching when
staying in St. Ives this summer. It was on our tour to Land's End
that we discovered this spot and thought it's a marvellous place
for a picnic, sitting on massive rocks on top of the hill looking
at the sea and the city below. So bring along some things for a
little feast and have one on us. And if you go as a group maybe you
can tell us in the logs how you met.
How to get there: The cache is hidden about 2 miles from the
city centre of St. Ives. There is a small car park on the brow of
the hill here: N50 12.101 W005 31.337. If you walk up the path from
the car park, keep left and follow the ridge line you will walk
strait to the cache location. You are looking for a round plastic
box the sice of a marmelade jar.
