Cache #’s 1, 2, 3, 5 are still active – we hope that you still enjoy this walk, but it is not necessary to note the information on the log book. . Pleasant Riverside Walk along a Public FP, which forms part of the Spalding leisure Wheel Trail. Part 1 of a 6-part series. Parking at Pay and Display CP close by. Also served by Public Transport.

A walk along the bank of the Coronation Channel, opened in 1953 as part of the Spalding Flood Relief Scheme. We would recommend that the walk is started by parking at the ‘pay and display’ Car Park at the Springfield Outlet Centre and Gardens. You can then follow the ‘Leisure Wheel Trail’ signs along the FP: more info. may be obtained at www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/countryside The path can be muddy at times and also uneven, so buggies could be difficult to manoeuvre. If you intend to walk the entire ‘Multi’, there are also roads to cross which could be busy at times. Please take care of GeoTots and GeoDogs. The Cache is located just off the path. It is a Micro container; when set it contained log book and pencil, with # 7 Co-ordinate detail. This is a popular area for Tourists and Walkers, so some stealth may be required.
