Gorica Svetoga Vlaha (Hill of St. Blasius, patron Saint of the city) is a small hill located west from Dubrovnik Old Town.
Placed on a green hill with lovely views over the sea, a votive church of St Blasius dominates this spot. The church existed ever since 13th ct., but the present one was completely rebuilt in the middle of 19th ct. It is a final ceremonial point of St. Blasius' festivity, held on the first Sunday after the 3rd of February. If you come searching for the cache on that particular day, you will attend an interesting ceremony, along with hundreds of devotees. Coming on any other day you will find this place rather peaceful and with hardly any visitors. To find the final location you will have to go to the given coordinates, read the year written above the entrance door of St. Blasius' church, which is "X" in these final coordinates: N 42° 38.(X-1063)', E 018° 04.(X-1089)' When finished you can walk back to N 42° 38.770', E 018° 04.819' where you can enjoy the view.
