McDougals Bridge--The name goes back to the first half of the 1800"s, when, it is said that a Col McDougal paid 3 Guineas to have the bridge named after him. The name endures locally to this day (the culvert down the road is called Little McDougal's) Guess it was three guineas well spent!!
