- The concession
stand by the playground is reserved in case of rain and for setting
up food.
- This is an easy going social event so wear your
comfortable weekend clothes.
ACTIVITIES
1. Cook out.
I will supply the hamburgers and
hotdogs to grill, buns, condiments for the meats, and a gas
grill. We'll have a sign-up so everyone doesn't bring chips!
Last names A-N bring a side dish and O-Z bring a dessert,
please. Please make a note in your attending log as to what
you plan on bringing, so we have some variety.
2. Temporary caches hidden
around the park. These can
be logged on the event page if you so choose. For example,
you would log another "attended" log for each cache.
3. Permanent caches in the
park. I also plan to
request publication for two new caches in the park the weekend of
this event.
4. Raffle. Items
will be supplied by me and other cachers who wish to donate
geocaching related items for this free raffle. These items could
include but are not limited to: cache containers, non-registered
geocoins, etc. Let me know if you want to donate item,
please.
5. Disc/Frisbee Golf
Course. Silver Creek has a world
class Disc Golf course.
6. Let me know if you have ideas for any other activities and if
you are willing to organize them.
WHAT TO BRING
1. Your camping chairs
2. Rain gear (just in case)
3. Bug spray
4. Your side dish or dessert
5. Your own drinks. All types of beverages are allowed in the
park.
6. Frisbees
7. Family, friends, non-geocachers, et al. Please make a note in
your attending log as to how many will
come.
