Union Mills Traditional Cache

A quick stop at another piece of local history. Placed with permission of the owner. Parking is available, but watch for traffic when you pull back out.

The mill is part of an Oregon Century Farm, established in 1852. The current farmhouse was built in 1909. The mill itself started as a flour mill, and was built in 1877; it has been in the same family continuously since then.

You might want to note the number in the lid; this one's 'A'.

FTF gets a Schleich lamb (in honor of some recent accomplishments at the county fair!).
