Bad Robot Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired it I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

If British Steel is still running a walk in the twilight will show the blast furnace at it’s best - if ya likes that sort of thing

This can be reached by the road through Tod point road that goes through Warrrenby to toward the South Gare. Or if you fancy a beach walk, park up on Majuba car park opposite (ish) the Redcar leisure center and set out north along the beach.

Carry on as far as you can go to park up for a great walk on some of the most deserted beaches in the area

Note: parts of Atonement were filmed down here.

Note: The Majuba Carpark is named after the Majuba Hill which was where the Golf club, club house is now

Many thanks Sweepy and Geowife for the info update - I always wondered why Majuba car park had such a strange name.
