Geocache Description:

Take a walk in a little known part of one of Canby's Parks.

NOTE OF CAUTION: SOMEHOW THE RESIDENTS ON CEDAR AND BIRCH STREET HAVE AUTHORITY TO HAVE NON-RESIDENT'S VEHICLES TOWED IF YOU PARK THERE! SO CHOOSE YOUR PARKING CAUTIOUSLY, OK?

This is in a Canby City Park. The cache name "Will It Flood" refers to the fact that this is, at least in part, a Wetland. That implies WATER and sometimes lots of it!! So be prepared. There are two ways to access this Cache and therefore you will have to make a decision.

One way is from the West and the best reference is to do "Lamp" Cache [GC1E2FR] and then drive around the loop and park near the restrooms, then follow your GPSr! Cross the little bridge (Trolls have been sighted here but they have always been Friendly! Now stay on the path and continue heading East. Oh, did I say that there are a number of small Springs on the uphill side of the path and that you shouldn't wear good shoes!! Might even be better to wear some really old ones because you will get them wet and/or muddy. Now, back to the route, cross another small Bridge (No known Trolls under this one!!) You are almost there!

Another way to the cache is from the East on a Trail that starts at about N 45 15.055 W 122 41.908. Now, what can I say about this Trail? It is steep both going down and much steeper coming back up! Take it easy and you'll have no problems. Just like the other route, cross a different small bridge (There might be Trolls under this one.) and you'll soon arrive at the Cache.

Some DEET maybe in order because not many Folks use this area and the Skeeters are hungry!!

Take binoculars because there are a fair number of birds and I flushed a diminutive Green Heron!
