Gordon Gilmer Park (a bark park) honors a friend to animals and features a carving of his favorite dog.
Cache is adjacent to the park. Access to the cache area is free, however there is a charge for admission to the bark park.
You can drive to the coordinates, which take you to the paved area closest to the geocache. The cache is about 20' due west of the coordinates. Tiptoe around the poison ivy!
There is a LETTERBOX sharing the cache site but it is in a separate container. Please do not remove the letterbox stamp; it is supposed to stay in place so letterboxers can stamp the image in their notebooks.
