The cache is hidden near the Stave Falls Visitor Centre run by BC Hydro.
The powerhouse at Stave Falls is designated a National Historic Site of Canada because of its history dating back to about 1901 when the area was first surveyed to build a dam. The visitor centre is open seasonally...see their webpage for open dates/times- https://www.bchydro.com/community/recreation_areas/visitor-centres/stave-falls-visitor-centre.html The cache location is by a piece of equipment used to harness the power of the water to create electrical energy for our homes and businesses. Take time to read about this piece of equipment on the blue information sign near GZ.
