Died And Gone To Heaven Multi-Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Cache is NOT at the above coordinates. These coordinates are for the start of the trail to the cache location and also for parking. The cache itself is located on Seamab Hill within the Woodland Trust Geordie Wood. From here there are many trails including the Reservoir Trails where you can find my other caches "Castlehill View" (GC1QF0V) and "Castlehill Reservoir" (GC1QF2X).
To gain the coordinates you will need to work out the answers to the questions below. All the answers can be got from the cemetery in Muckhart Parish Church.
This cemetery is a bit of a gem. The dead here get the best of the views. The scenery from the little seating area at the back of the graveyard is truly breath-taking. Gives the saying "died and gone to heaven" a little more substance.
There are some lovely headstones in here and I have not planned the questions in any order or given waypoints for them so cachers will need to explore it in detail. The cemetery is not big so its not as hard as it sounds.
The church itself is superb. I have not been able to find out much about this post mediaeval building but it is an OS benchmark, well worth grabbing while you are here. If anyone knows anything about the church then please let me know and I will update cache page.
On the way to GZ I spotted a few interesting things. I have posted waypoints for them but you will more than likely see them yourself. I'm sure there is a lot more to see and do in here but I didn't explore all that much this time around.
Cache is located at N56*1a.bcd, W003*3e.fgh
