If your looking for a challenging day hike with a great view at the end, then this is it. Table Mtn on a clear day has a fantastic view, we could see Mt Hood, Mt Adams, Mt St. Helens, and in the far distance Mt Rainier.
2/10/2017: Trail closed - Per the Bonneville Trails Foundation, the Dick Thomas Trailhead has been closed to public access. Access to Table Mountain is only via the Bonneville Trailhead
Table Mtn is a Washington State Natural Area, but not to worry because you don't have to leave the PCT to find this one. You are looking for a small decon container hidden in a different spot.
There are many ways to start this journey, the one I provide is the Bonneville Trailhead. This trail will intersects with the PCT, then head North along the PCT. When you return the bison tube to its hiding place make sure you cover it with a bit of natural covering.
When you sign the log, look for the coordinates to GC1TNM4 "Westway Bonus Cache". Use that three digit number in place of the last three zero's in each of the posted coordinates of the Bonus Cache.
