If your looking for a challenging day hike with a great view at the end, then this is it. Table Mtn on a clear day has a fantastic view, we could see Mt Hood, Mt Adams, Mt St. Helens, and in the far distance Mt Rainier. 2/10/2017: Trail closed - Per the Bonneville Trails Foundation, the Dick Thomas Trailhead has been closed to public access. Access to Table Mountain is only via the Bonneville Trailhead
Table Mtn is a Washington State Natural Area, but not to worry because you don't have to leave the PCT to find this one. Although you do need to find GC1TNKP "Westway Trail head" for the coordinates. When you find GC1TNKP "Westway Trail head", the log sheet will contain a three digit number. Just replace the last three zero's in each of the posted coordinates with those three numbers. You are looking for a larger bison tube (the kind sold by Groundspeak).
