O objectivo desta cache é dar a conhecer um pouco da região saloia a Norte de Lisboa, nomeadamente as localidades de Bolelas e Monte Arroio, situadas no eixo Odrinhas – S. João das Lampas.
The aim of this cache is to show the “saloia” area, North of Lisbon, more precisely the small villages of Bolelas and Monte Arroio, on the way from Odrinhas to S. João das Lampas.

A CACHE NÃO ESTÁ NAS COORDENADAS PUBLICADAS
THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE PUBLISHED COORDINATES
As coordenadas iniciais levam-nos a Bolelas. Observem o núcleo habitacional, antigas construções de pedra, em ruínas, mesmo à beira da estrada, e um pombal cónico, de pedra, bem conservado. É aqui que irão obter a informação necessária para descobrir as coordenadas finais da cache. Depois percorram, a pé, a estrada para Monte Arroio, durante cerca de 200 metros. Apreciem o pequeno vale agrícola, com parcelas bem delimitadas por muros de pedra, em patamares.
Mais adiante, subindo a encosta fronteira, à beira da estrada, encontram uma fonte com o respectivo lavadouro que apresenta a peculiaridade de possuir, a juzante, um aproveitamento hidráulico que permite, através de canais, regar as parcelas agrícolas. É esta estrutura hidráulica, ainda bem preservada, que confere uma interessante originalidade a esta fonte.

The initial coordinates take you to Bolelas. There, you can see ruined stone buildings by the roadside, and a conic rock dovecote. Here you will find the necessary information to calculate the coordinates of the final cache. Then, you follow the road to Monte Arroio, for about 200 meters. Enjoy the view of the valley, with cultivated plots bounded by stone walls. Up the hill, along the road, you will find a water source with a washhouse, which presents the peculiarity of having a well preserved hydraulic structure, with small channels, taking the water downstream to irrigate the cultivated plots.
To go further in this region you can visit “Gouveia, Aldeia em verso” (GC16NPG). And, if you like to see different water sources and washhouses, you must visit the series of caches “Fontes e Lavadouros”, owned by Fonsecada-Portucalense, at Algueirão - Mem Martins (GC1AKW9, GC1AT7C, GC1AW12, GC1AZQM, GC1B1DY e GC1D72M).

O ano dessa data (ABCD) funciona como chave para o nosso enigma, sendo que E=A+D e F=A+C
