Located along the "BIRD to GIRD" paved trail. Container has just a log. Bring something to write with.
The "Bird to Gird" is an enjoyable bike path that’s perfect for any level biker. It’s a shared trail, so you’ll also see hikers, dog walkers, and others. This paved trail parallels Seward Hwy along the Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet. The path runs for 13 miles, from Bird to Girdwood. You're likely to see wildlife along the way. Watch out for moose and muggles, as well as other wildlife. Always proceed with caution as you enjoy yourself outdoors in Alaska. Cache can be easily approached from the paved trail near Auriga Rd/Seward Hwy, not far from Birdhouse Garage. Happy Geocaching! [FTF Congrats go to DR-AK who posted a photo standing on the bridge with cache-in-hand!]
