Geocache Description:

Discovered this park on a 50 mile training ride for another ride I plan to do later this month. That one is a 2 day 150 mile bike ride from Boston to Provincetown.

Tried to find more information on this cannon. I'm guessing by it's wooden wheels that it's WW1 vintage. There's a plaque on the side that indicates that its "Model OF1893 Rock Island Asenal". More info in Rock Island here: Rock Island Arsenal
