Most folks have no idea this swimming hole is here, so come by and check it out. Look for either of two access roads, on the south side, at mile 35.1 of the Seward Highway. The cache is just a bit back in the woods, behind this old flooded gravel pit.
Look for an ammo box, with some books and CD's, a new TB, and some small trade items. As a prize for the First Finder, we have included another complete, small geocache, ready to be placed.
Bring bug dope, although there were very few when we set the cache.
The swimming hole is spring-fed, clean and deep, and even warms up on the best days of the summer. There used to be a diving board when we were young, but it's long gone now. Locals have recently installed a great swimming raft.

Note: The Rand McNally map correctly shows the local sub-division which is not directly on the other side of the highway; the other maps are rather confused...
