This will be easy for experienced cachers.
You can park near the listed coordinates to begin this 2 stage multi. Muggles will usually not be a problem here. Replace the last three digits of the north and west coordinates listed at the top of this page as follows:
N 42° 37.AAA
W 089° 15.BBB
To get started look for a short yellow object and subtract 1,811 from the four digit number. This gives you AAA. Add 400 to the three digit number. This gives you BBB. The cache blends in quite well with its surroundings. You do not need to walk in any part of the farm fields.
Orfordville has the highest altitude in Rock county at 1,080 feet. This cache is placed at about 1,002 feet. At ground level you can see Janesville and on top of the water tower, using binoculars, you can see the nuclear plant at Byron, Illinois. No, you can’t go up there and verify this! A village employee goes up there for maintenance and gave me this information when we received permission to place this cache. We hope you enjoy our first hide.
Congratulations to WStemple for the FTF!
