Geocache Description:

Pretty much a drive up cache...no need to go over any fences here.

35mm film-sized canister, only has room for a logbook so please bring a pen or pencil. Consumer's Glass in Lavington was built in 1969 and was one of the biggest employers in the Okanagan until its closure in October 2008. My dad had worked here for nearly 37 years and retired in 2006. I worked here as a student employee for three summers (1997-1999). At the time there were well over 300 employees. The plant will be missed by many people across the Okanagan valley.
