A ammo can cache placed in honour of Paul Pilon, Lori's dad. Nice and easy, hidden BC style.
Paul Pilon loved the lake, and playing with electronic gadgets. He would have loved playing with GPSr's.
This cache is hidden within 500 feet of his cabin, which is still owned and enjoyed by the family. It will be maintained by family members from Prince Albert, and a Saskatoon cacher who goes by the handle of bennykidd.
Once you park at the end of the dirt lane, you will see an open gate in the fence. Stroll along the trail until you see deadfall to your right. A quick scramble over some small logs will take you to the cache, which is about 20 feet off the right hand side of the path.
The original contents are all memories of Dad, and a small FTF prize awaits you! If you have time, wander down to the lakefront and enjoy the view.
*** Congrats to Sask_girl & Novy for the FTF ***
