GoldCircle: It's always a moment of sadness when the time to archive a cache comes.

The final location of the IneXORable Search, along the River Liffey has been subject to endless and repeated renovations and manipulations by developers, the Port Authority and Dublin City Council - and now the small fence upon which this cache was placed has been removed... so, it with sadness that I have taken the decision to put this one to rest.

I am cognisant that this was Anacreon 's very first cache - I am merely the guardian - and it was a very nice puzzle and a very cleverly named one too! When I tried to solve it, way back when, it took me an age... the hallmark of a great puzzle - so many thanks to Anacreon!

And thanks to the 199 visitors for coming out to play since 11 Feb. 2009.

The cache is gone - no further logs are possible now.

Geocache Description:

A Geocache for the Samuel Beckett Bridge, opened December 2009. This cache is not at the given coordinates; to find it you must solve the puzzle below.

The Samuel Beckett Bridge is the second river crossing of the Liffey from the Irish Sea. It was designed by Santiago Calatrava, who also worked on the James Joyce Bridge further upstream. The bridge itself was floated into position in May 2009, and opened to traffic in December 2009.

The coordinates are hidden within the clues below. How you solve them is up to you.

STEP1: Solve the puzzle below.

STEP 2: I have moved the cache location due to building works - add 040 to the Westing to find the adjusted final location.

This was anacreon's first geocache, which was adopted by Hezekiah (the late and great Alan Shiel “Hezekiah” 1950 -2014). On Hezekiah's passing, this cache was adopted by GoldCircle

The cache is a micro container. There's no need to fall into the river; the cache is safely reachable without going too close to the water's edge.
