A “micro” in the true sense of the word. Although, it is slightly larger than a standard 35mm film can.
This cache deviates from the regular “main line” ST caches and puts a second cache in this beautiful park. It has everything. Sports facilities, a pub which serves food, woodland, a wildlife filled pond, large open spaces for picnics, a bowling green and it’s own railway line! Not many parks can boast all of that lot. The cache is hidden close to the railway and contains a log book and pencil. There is not much room left, although a SideTracked coin and/or a really small bug could be accommodated. Please leave the cache in the position you found it and be mindful of the high muggle count in the park, i.e. leave it so it don’t look like a geocache!! Ta very much, and happy hunting. About the site: READING SOCIETY OF MODEL ENGINEERS The society’s miniature railway is based at Prospect Park and is open to the public for train rides on the first Sunday of every month. The main (vehicular) entrance is off the A4, Bath Road with a gated pedestrian entrance within the Park itself. So, bring your parents so they can pay the fare.
