Geocache Description:

This letterbox hybrid will take you on a short walking tour in Berkeley along a couple of some of the many hidden paths in the area. As this is a letterbox-hybrid, the cache is not at the posted coordinates. You must follow the directions below to find the cache.

The coordinates take you to the former Magnes Museum which housed a fascinating collection of Jewish history, art, and culture. Continue west on Russell along the brick border of the Magnes. Go right on a named path, which is opposite Pine St, past #2901. Saunter along its pink concrete path and steps, under oak, pine, redwood, and toyon. The steps up lead to a street in which you will turn right. Walk along the curved street until you come to another named path at a lamp post opposite the end of Oak Knoll Terrace, and at the inviting house at #2934 with its First Bay Tradition features. Follow the path, flanked by maple, magnolia, and ivy fences. The cache will be half way downhill on this path at a wooden pole.
The cache contains a stamp (but you will need to bring your own pad), please leave the stamp in the cache.
